In this free, hands-on workshop, learn how to build and burn a simple burn pile safely. Burning is a great way to reduce fuels, especially dead or old branches and small logs—particularly if you have a lot of ladder fuels to remove and don’t have easy access
to green waste removal.

- How to make it easier on yourself with “feeder piles”
- When permits are required, what kinds are needed, and the consequences of burning without one
- How to burn safely and ensure your pile does not escape
