Winter Walk in the Forest
Take a walk through the forest with a forest expert and get an introduction to what makes a tree or forest healthy and wildfire-ready.
Winter is a great time to see firsthand what a healthy tree and a healthy forest look like. Learn how to:
- Spot signs that a tree is weakened or stressed
- Identify which trees are more of a problem in winter and wildfire season
- Understand what you can do to make your trees and forests healthier and more wildfire-ready
This field trip will be in south Nevada County in oak woodland. The location will be sent to registrants.
